And the streetlight is our moon.
In between the skinny streets
And dirty sidewalks our footsteps

I hold your hand, rough
Skin stretched over the bones and
Blood of love; in the background
I hear an orchestra of sirens,
Honking and shouts…
In front of me I watch the
Beautiful movie of your eyes, curtained
By damp, black shadows.
Our soundlessness overcomes
The neon noise, and
Inside I sense
